Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. The mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. His father is an Argentine who had Scottish and English heritage. Her mother has Spanish as well as English heritage. Four of her siblings belong to her father's ex-married partners. After having lived in Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. According to Taylor-Joy, the relocation was difficult and she was unable to study English to the hope of returning to Argentina. She had to switch schools from Northlands in order to attend Hill House. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. At 16, she left the school to take on acting as a profession. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her dream came true when she was offered an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
