Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson hails from the United States and is a producer, actress and writer, singer/director. Most famously, she is known for her character Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and she has also produced and appeared in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January 1977 in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Her younger sister is Danielle, who is an artist. His father was Jewish as is her mom. She born and raised in the state of Alabama. Southern Baptist Benson grew up attending a Reform synagogue located in Alabama. Benson began appearing in other films, like The Killing Jar. Benson was also a part of TV shows like Morganville The Series. Her creative talents were put to use on Ghosts of Albion, and she also directed Drones (2010).
