Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28th in 1967. She is an American actor and singer. She began her acting career when she was a teenager. She is most known for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders as well as her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised within Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble and worked as a pay clerk as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three sisters and brothers. When she was in her teens she was a nightclub performer by sneaking from the house. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School from 13 years old she pursued a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Then, she took classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the renowned Uta Hagen. She was born in Brookfield on the 28th of April on the 28th of April, 1967. Her German-American dad is also a car dealer and police agent. Kari has three brothers and sisters. Kari performed in nightclubs while she was in her teens. Her habit was to sneak away at night to sing and entertain her friends. Kari was only 13 years old when she started acting lessons at Wooster School. In the following years, Kari enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College. Kari was first introduced to acting at 13 years old, and received her big break in 1987, when she was featured on MTV Remote Control.
